Did you guys find a taker for this dog, yet? Just curious.
No luck finding the owner yet. The local Pit Bull group (Sula foundation) has taken him in, hoping to find the owner. The dog has a microchip and the owners live in Gretna. It's a mystery how the dog made it to the Eastbank. The dog is neutered, was recently groomed and is in good overall shape. Amazing to me how this dog's owners haven't stepped up to get him. They apparently have been contacted through phone and email but no answer back. It's strange to me. I'm really hoping they didn't just ditch him because he's not a fighter. I couldn't imagine this dog hurting a fly much less fighting another dog.
Check out the Sula foundation website for more information. http://www.sulafoundation.org/

Big 30 ! And bravo is 1 !!!! Lot nice birthday than last year !

A late Happy Birthday wish bud, hope you had an awesome weekend and Bravo too

Would they have neutered a fighter... or microchipped him for that matter? it might just be that they are on vacation right now. good looking dog, I am sure Cat would like a friend but one dog is more than enough right now.

Pit Bulls can be very good pets so neutering him was perhaps just cause they didn't want puppies running around. Also makes them more docile perhaps:meh:

I considered taking the dog also but already have 2 and a cat as in feline :D

So it turns out the a-hole owner adopted this dog about 6 months ago from the LASPCA. Apparently he took the dog from Gretna to the eastbank, let it go somewhere, then drove off. Because he lost his job, he could no longer take care of the pooch. The owner has been contacted and does not want the animal back. We are doing everything possible to keep the dog from going back to the pound. So if you know anyone looking for a sweet dog, please let me know!

X2 Happy 4th to you ALL, Thanks Armond and the same to you.

Got my Trails today. Good read on diesels and another that made relive my trip to Katemcy for the Lonestar Cruiser Roundup. I only mention that so you all will know that I have been on the trails before. I'm thinking I will again one of these days!

Looking forward to getting my issue for the read. I forget about the online content sometimes but there is often good articles to read there as well. Hopefully you'll get to make SCC this year that's always a 1st class event and a good one to give you the bug for the trails :)

That way he can plan on making the trip in the family vehicle to get the Cruiser back...

Thanks
Cody
