Haha, found my new tow rig and will purchase in a few days. I'm going the opposite ways with MPG's now, dropping down to the 8-10 range.
Anyone thing a tune-up, leaning-up, and synthetic oil change will help the MPG's on a 1977 Dodge Honey with a 360 2bbl? (I don't know what the gears are yet but the tranny is 3spd no OD).
you might be surprised on fuel consumption
have a 1976 Trailduster 440 727 tans 9.25 factory LSD rear end 3.55 gears made 17 /19 mg when I could get hi octane fuel
before had a 1979 full size van 360 2bb 727 trans never knew the gears fully loaded people gear etc hwy 18 town 10 city & it didn`t make a sheet how ya drove it
my 1985 Ramcharger 318 2bbl 904 trans 8.25 think 3.08 gears & sue as hell wasn`t gona win any drag races with it, that I totaled last year

on a trip to Virginia Beach Va in 05 made 18+ at 75 /80+ all the way 0n return trip with an 18ft center console boat at 70/75 made 15 it was a bit anemic on up grades if ya let cruse handle it but if ya got down on the skinny pedal early on at the bottom of the hill never had it drop below 65 this was on 87 octane .
did put a mild cam performer intake & 650CFM Edelbrock
did hurt mileage a bit but really did wake it up
it`s replacement is a 1985 Ramchargher 360 / factory Rochester 4bbl never saw a Quadra jet on a Mopar but it is factory . haven put enough miles to even know mpg but it is peppy
well that B my $1.50 worth

pics
