I'll go with you John if its just a day trip.

Sounds good, I know Jonathan wants to make a run just do not know how much time I have off when he is in.

Yes, it's for my house. I called and left a message. Thanks!

95% sure I am picking up a new toy when I get home. One of my dads friends is giving me a non running(ran when it was parked) 2 door Sidekick, I am pretty exited because thats actually what I was looking for when I bought my 4runner, I think I am going to try and make it a more fuel friendly DD than my dodge is. Heck, even if I decide to offroad it that tiny thing I might even be able to fit on my carhauller WITH my 4runner.

I have seen them in action and they "get it". Congrats.
Oh and if you get stuck you can just pick it up and move it out of the obstacle.:hillbilly:

My son's new pet.

Do they make good pets? Thats a great pic :) I have a Carl Zeis 16 - 80, and a Tamron 24 - 70 on my desk to try out this weekend :) I was looking for a mid-range portrait and all purpose lense.

I have heard mixed reviews about iguanas making good pets. This guy is about 6 inches long without the tail. I did my homework and tried to talk him into a bearded dragon but he wanted an iguana because of Godzilla. This thing will get pretty big in about 2 years. They can give some pretty nasty bites as well. We play with him everyday and time will tell what type of personality he will have. If he turns out to be a little biter, I will give it up for adoption. I know a few people in my area that will gladly take him.

As far as a good portrait lens I only use the 100mm because that is all I have.:D It is a great lens for that but other than portraits and macro it is pretty useless. If I had to guess, I'd say that Tamron would be more versatile. I'm sure our photo expert will know much more.

Thanks for the compliment on the picture. Sucks my DOF is so shallow if I want high IQ , hence the biting end not in focus.:banana:

i had one of those, the tail whip is WAAAAAYYYYY worse than the bite!!! they only get as big as their environment. my was reallly mean when i was trying to get him out of the cage, but once out he was great.

larry that C/Z lenz great ! is t the f2.8 one ?tamrron is good too but lacks on contrast and vivid ness i find

See, I knew the expert would chime in.;)

That pic was taken with my new Canon EF 100mm 1:2.8 L series IS USM. It is the first macro lens with the new hybrid IS.

I also have a Canon 100mm 1:2.8 USM lens that works just as well. I think I may sell my new L series and buy the MPE 65 canon lens that shoots up to 5 to 1.

I also can't tell the difference in my 40 D and my 5 D Mark II unless I crop pics and then the 5 D blows it away. Also the 1080 video is a nice touch as well.

Any pointers are always welcome.

mine was already grown when i got it, it was born in the wild, not a petshop. just always watch the tail.

Cook it, i heard it taste like chicken:idea::beer::beer::beer::beer:
