Can You guess which organization this is?
:hhmm::hhmm:

Neither,
it's the 435 members of the
United States
Congress :meh:

The Same group of Idiots that crank out
Hundreds of new laws each year Designed to keep the rest of us in line. :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2:

I am not even goign to get started in fear of incriminating my self.

P.S. Vote Joshua Broussard for congress 2010

Yep, no reason to stay inside this weekend it looks great out side.

acctually the bigest crime is that we pay then !

Yep, about $165,000 per year.

You can run against David Vitter. His term is running out. It would be a good run Josh - You, Vitter, and Stormy Daniels. Do a Google search in a safe area. She's a contender against Vitter. Her occupation is classified as "Adult Film Star".

... thats just sad... I lack one major thing though. I have no money to pay for TV ads, and even though I am loaded with commonsense all Vitter would have to do is link to my youtube and be like "you obviously cant vote for him, he plays with little toys"

but like I said, the biggest problem is money.

Also, David vitter is a senator, You have to be 30 to run for senate and I wont be turning 30 till late august in 2010 so I dont know if that also means I would be unable tobe nominated/run till that same date. if I had to wait till only a few months I dont know if I could gather any steam what so ever.

he reason I was saying congress is because the age limit for that is just 25 to be able to run. Also if I ran for congress I would have to run against Boustany who is also a republican, and experienced so I don't see anything coming of that.

I figure the best bet would be to do something local, but I dont know that local politics would pay enough for me to leave my job to be able to focus my attention on that as much as I should. Although Gueydan did have a mayor that worked offshore 7&7...

You're an 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded, and dying in the jungle in the Ia Drang Valley , 11-14-1965, LZ X-ray, Vietnam . Your infantry unit is outnumbered 8 - 1, and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MediVac helicopters to stop coming in.

You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half-way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter, and you look up to see an un-armed Huey, but it doesn't seem real, because no Medi-Vac markings are on it.

Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come.

He's coming anyway.

And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 2 or 3 of you on board.

Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the Doctors and Nurses.

And, he kept coming back.... 13 more times..... And took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out.

Medal of Honor Recipient, Ed Freeman, died last Wednesday at the age of 80, in Boise , ID ......May God rest his soul.....

I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we sure were told a whole bunch about some Hip-Hop Coward beating the crap out of his "girlfriend."

Medal of Honor Winner Ed Freeman!

Shame on the American Media.

The thing that amazes me about Medal of Honor winners is that they all admit they were scared to hell when they were doing whatever it was they did. They didn't do it in hopes of glory or a medal; they did it because they were saving their buddies, buddies they may have never met, and I dare say most of them would expect anyone else to do the same for them. I think it's the mindset, and I hope that if I were ever in any situation remotely similar I wouldn't let fear freeze me up.

These stories are always inspirational for me. Thanks Paul

AMEN !!! Reminds me I need to make a trip back to the WWII museum in NO. Its a moving place and you get to thank the many veterans that make the trip. We're losing those men and women on a daily basis.

Never been there ..wanna go

me

That's the battle that Big and Rich sang about, "8th of November". That's one of my favorites and according to their story, the longest they ever took to write a song because they wanted to honor those guys appropriately.

If y'all ever go ride into Forest Hills on the back roads, there is a memorial for the 101st or 82nd Airborn, where they show a picture of Sargent Alvin York, Medal of Honor winner in WWI, talking to the troops in Forest Hills training for WWII. It's the craziest thing, out in the middle of some bushes and trees right off the road.
