those of you who made it out to the gumbo a couple of sat evening's ago probably met my sister's boxer storm, well i brought her back up to jackson on this sunday evening after she spent the week in lafayette.

funny how things work out she passed in her sleep some time after lunch today curled up in a ball on her favorite bed.

gonna miss the ole girl. :frown::frown::frown:

 
Dan tell your sister we are sorry to here that.I lost my dog year and half ago. They are part of the family .My lived 14 years , i still think about her. Sorry for your lost :frown:

we lost a long time friend also the saturday before the first bonfire at Dan's. he was gonna be 13 years old in January. My sympathies. I know what you are feeling.
 
Sorry for you and your sisters loss Dan. It seems we all had a hard year with the lost of our Canine friends. :frown: At least she went peaceful Happy suffered from a seisure. Here is one of her I had at the bonfire a week or so ago. Boxers have always been my favorite.

but stay off the roads it will be slick on bridges & some streachs of road 4x4 won`t help a bit trying to stop ! leave the carnage on the trails;)
 
I was headed home this afternoon from Minden and was about 15 minutes south of Shreveport when I noticed something in the rearview mirror. I kept trying to figure out what it was and finally it turned in the air and I realized it was the space shuttle Endeavor on the top of its 747 returning to Florida. It had stopped in Barksdale. That was impressive. Almost as impressive as all the snow piled up on the side of I-49 south of Alexandria at 3:30 in the afternoon!
