Troopie Spotted in Metairie

I saw this Troopie last night at Duckworth Tires in Metairie. It had Florida plates on it. I called Duckworth Tires today to see if it was for sale and the guy told me he did not know, but once the owner gets the repair bill it might be??

Yep, I really like the pvc pipe on the roof racks, there were tubes on each side I am assuming for Water on an extended trip--

Good to hear from you hope all is well--

That is neat. I've seen that on a couple of the expedition rigs. Same to you and I hope you and the family are enjoying your summer. Do you have any projects you're working on with the cruisers? Did I read that you have an 80 as well. I'd like to hear about it. I was always partial to the 40's but since I've been playing with this 80 I have a new passion and appreciation for their versatility and capability. :)

all of my projects are beautification projects. My cruisers are street queens so I have nothing Manly to brag about. My 80 is a 40th anniv. edition with 115k miles on it. I will shoot some pics and get them online this weekend. Take care

We appreciate the street queens as well. I look forward to seeing the pics :)

And seeing the ones that are treated with great care and remain stock through history. Some have to be preserved.

Agreed :D and I'm very thankful to those people who used them on pavement only and scooting the family around so several years from now I can buy a spare because I just wheeled the life out of mine and it was retired to trail duty. I'll have a 40th model eventually :)

I like the Random Album Pictures being displayed over the main forums. I just saw Randy's sig with the blue 60 and was wondering what that was.

I saw yours right in the middle the first time it poped up on my screen. It was you in the green 40. 1967-68?

 the turtle. I saw one of our neighbors with Cottonland Clutchee's red 60 on there some nice pics I like it.
