or is it just me?

thanks

I am also having the same issue in Mozilla Firefox. I have removed Firefox and re-installed, cleared cookies. Any other ides. Pages take longer to load, when going back stuck at black page, hit stop and then reload page. Thanks, Nelson

I do not think its a browser issue as i visit several forums and this is the only one that has the issue......

still does it today as i am checking my fav 80 series section....oh well, just have to remember to click a few times....

I've tried Firefox, haven't been able to duplicate the issue...making it about impossible to track down...

*It is forum specific..but then again,

:flipoff2: Maybe you all oughta stop watching teh pornzs girls and stripperz in teh LandCruiserses?

Brian, I just sent you an email with the screenshots of it. It's b/c of the AdServe pop-ups and happens right after the Googleads load. At least that's what it appears to be using the screenshots and reading the scriptload wording on the bottom left of the page in the white toolbar.

I'm getting it with IE, and my most current Safari and Firefox on both my Macbook and our pc.

Notice the googleeads..doubleclick script here.

Now notice the Adserve script here, and the screen freezes up.

*FWIW it's location specific only to the main server or the other two jump points b/c I got a buddy in NC and another in OH to repeat the issue and get similar results.

Off-topic, coming back out this way anytime soon? I figure we should pay each other off the "I.O.U. a Beer"'s at some point? :D

I haven't touched anything, and AdServe doesn't appear in any of the few hundred possible ad networks managed thru the handful of ad systems the site uses.

Possible the systems already pulled their campaigns...they are usually pretty quick to catch problems and correct them.

The pages are very slow to load and just sit there with "waiting for postrelease.adserve.com" or similar at the bottom of the page. A right PITA

adserve.com doesn't appear within ANY of the networks...hard to block/remove something I cannot track...

Unfortunately, although you say the above, it is mentioned in previous posts, not just mine, so it is happening, what annoys me most is the fact that the page won't load without the bloody adds, if the adds won't load then it stops the page loading, why can't the page load and then the adds load?
That way, if the add servers are crap at least we can still USE THE FORUM?
