broken brkfeil what to do????

i have a 94 toyota pick up steight axle and i broke drivers side birkfeild and it tore up the inside of the housing and a peice of metal took a small chunk out of the out side of the ball now i want to do the birkfeild eliminator but idk if my axle is gona leak

on the outside of the ball your gonna want to fill the hole/chunk with weld.....then grind it to contour......it might still leak a little but itll leak like crazy if u dont
