Brass Gear - still avaliable??????

Hey guys,

I am stuck. I broke down the rear window motor and as I expected the nylon gear was split in four pieces.

Since Toyota no longer carries the coveted replacement nylon gear, the real solution is the brass gear offered by a member some time ago - before my time anyways...

Was the brass gear a one time thing or is there still hope in getting more made?

Was the brass gear made / accessible to just one member or is there another (hopefully) source?

Did a savvy member think ahead and purchase more than one brass gear and if so, would he be willing to help a guy out say right about now????

There were two threads 2-3 months ago on brass gears. Cruiser Guy was working on some from Central America? And someone else had a friend in the states that made some.
