ewwwwwwwww.. . . . . . i want those!

25+ years experience with Jap designers and especially Toyo/Honda tells me that the steel in the OEM is stronger than anything we make here. Witness all of the cracks in local castings.
There is a story going around in automotive circles. It seems that when GM contracted Nippondenso to build components they suggested that a 5% failure rate would be acceptable. Nippondenso had no concept of what a failure rate was. They did not understand this concept. There should not be a failure rate.
We are dealing with Toyotas here, not Fords!

Some of those are aussie rotors

That is fan boy talk and I wish it was true since my OEM rotors need to be replaced and I wish they didn't. GM couldn't survive with a 5% rate. In fact, NPR did a story on GM fctories and they have some of the highest quality factories out there. I will look for that link. It was eye opening.

Toyotas have problems, just read the HG thread here, or on the supra board, or pick your toyota board.

I am sure there are some junk rotor castings, but don't assume bexause someone with aftermarket rotors had cracks who may have over heated them that we should make that link to an OEM.

<--multiple TOYOTA HG victum, while our 120,000 Ford Taurus still running like a clock, and previous 220,000 taurus with no engine problems.
