Brake light possibly glitching?

Hey everyone, I have a new to me ‘94 fzj80. Recently when I’m driving, the BRAKE light comes up on the dash but goes away for a while if I fiddle with the parking brake. It seems to come up more when I’m pulling away from a stop, but not every time.

I recently replaced tires, shocks, brakes, and rotors. Also rebuilt the front knuckle.

Any ideas on what this could be and/or what to look at? Trying to expand my automotive literacy and definitely not an expert, but would love to save some money if I can figure it out at home.

The BRAKE light will come on for two reasons:
1) The parking brake is on.
2) Your brake fluid is low.

I'm guessing since you recently did brake work, that your brake fluid is low.

In addition to what @BILT4ME said above the brake fluid level sensor could be sending a false signal.
