Brake job ... mushy pedal (1 Viewer)

I'm in Brooklyn and am looking for a good LC mechanic to do a brake job /assessment .... I have a 96 and I think i need throw some money into my brakes.... maybe new calipers and a master cylinder rebuild... I just don't trust my local shops... I'm in Williamsburg and I have been told there is someone I think in Bushwick but I cant remember his name. if any one has a suggestion that would be great....

Brakes are pretty straight forward, why don’t you grab an FSM and give it a shot yourself? You can get caliper rebuild kits and brake lines from wits end or cruiser outfitters, brake pads and rotors can also be had at cruiser outfitters.

Not in Bushwick, but go see Mitchell. He’s great. I bring my 100 there for the things I don’t want to do myself, and that is where my dad used to bring his 80.
