Who here has converted their single master cylinder to a boosted dual cylinder? How did you do it, what happened, and what advice do you have? Thanks!!

Brian

(also a thread in the 40 forum)

Any takers? Will an unboosted dual M/C work just fine? Thanks

Brian

If you are going to discs you MUST use a boosted system.

you've got a couple options, you can run any minitruck master/booster, or upgrade to a v-6 4 runner master, or upgrade again to an 80 series master, they all interchange, course you'll be doing a little work to get the later stuff on, but its not rocket science.

The plunger that activates the internal piston in the single M/C, does that travel the same amount of distance as the plunger in the dual M/C? Thanks.

this afternoon i will get you a measurement from the pivot to the center of the pushrod, that way you will know for sure. i measured when i did my swap to check that but i dont remember the number.
