Anyone know what brake master I can use to replace the old single on my FJ45?

6" diameter booster, with a 13/16" bore I think is what I need, just don't know what exactly I need. I want to keep the firewall and rib there all intact. I don't want to cut or drill if I don't have to.

I have rebuilt the entire brake system, and it's already failed me, so I am going with a dual reservoir setup.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks - Dallas

MAF make a spacer to allow use of a GM booster and master on the old trucks.

Ok, did a search and I assume you are referring to:
MAF GM Booster Master Conversion Kit

That would be great IF I were running a V8 as well. That adapter puts the master cylinder right about where the stock 1bbl Aisin sits.

I have heard of people running JUST the minitruck master cylinder with no booster, or even little booster/master combo's like you'd find in small Geo prisms, or something.....

I am looking for a stock looking preferably Aisin, dual master brake cylinder that I can use to replace the original.

Thanks again,

Dallas

MC adapter

It will fit--but a very tight squeeze.

Isn't there a year or two that were dual master but no booster on the 40 series? Like maybe early 70's? I'd like to do that too.

I purchased one from Mark's off road. Great quality and reputable.
Unlike the JT gig..
Or swap firewall
