I recently put BP-51s on my LC. Having a couple of minor issues.

First, there is kind of a "hollow rattle" (best way I can describe it) when I go over even a minor bump. Not a massive issue but still annoying. Sounds like a rear wheel but its difficult to tell. Anyone else had this issue and have you found a solution?

Second, I have only slightly mod'ed my LC. I changed tires to Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/70/18 (about 34's) and put new wheels on. The ride is kind of choppy and floaty all at the same time, so I am wondering if I should adjust the shocks on the compression and rebound.

Not sure about the noise...but about float...

What rear springs did you install in the rear?

2721?
2720?
2722?

Maybe take a photo of the compression and rebound settings your struts are currently set to.

Could be your springs are a bit light in back... or your preload on front coilovers... Or...you may need to increase compression/rebound dampening.

OME doesn’t number the settings, and use a thickening “ramp” shape to indicate rebound & preload. They could have saved a lot of confusion by using number...but the thicker the arrow points to, the more dampening is being applied. Floaty sounds like an underweight spring possibly, but will help if you provide those numbers. If the shop selected rear coils they can tell you which number.
