I noticed this noise yesterday while driving over bumps, manhole covers and such. I think I’ve isolated it to the driver rear shock. Can’t be sure if it’s the top nut or something else. Install was done by a local shop.
I’m trying to upload the video but can’t figure it out... happy to text it to folks who would like to see/listen.
Noise is reproducible when standing on rear bumper and jumping, causing rear suspension to compress and rebound. Noise appears to originate at rear driver shock. Towards top maybe.

Those "lip washers" are on the install instructions and part of the kit. Were they installed improperly somehow or is the metal to metal squeak a "feature" of the BP-51 shocks? What did you do to eliminate the squeak? If I need to do something different, now's my shot. Enlighten us please!
