Both of my rear rock guards have come loose...and one fell off entirely and is now gone.
It seems to me the trouble is that it relies solely on tightening of the attachment ring and friction...as there is no rib or lip to tighten behind. Since the rock guard mounting ring is smooth...against a smooth attachment point, it simply works its way loose. This last time, it disappeared entirely. Frustrating. I also have some fluid loss that is visible on the chrome piston, especially on the rears.
I love the way they ride...but I am concerned.
