Hey all, been a while since I posted here since I sold my 2000 LC in California.
Been hopping around, working on bunch of projects, decided to come back home a few months ago and about a week ago I saw my old family car come up for sale, we had sold it in 2023 because it needed a bunch of work and parts were hard to get, but after seeing it in person again, we just had to have it again.
It’s 06 Diesel LC with a "Lexus Package" and a pretty rare spec here with the 1hd-fte, 5 speed, dual A/C and the rear locker. most other I’ve have seen are 4-speed ones.
The seller was a reputable LC dealer here, they fixed a bunch of stuff on it, got It running, timing belt, AHC, transfer case or transmission (not super sure), new seat covers and they put in an aftermarket head unit.
There are a few things it still needs - Mismatched wheel caps, mismatched taillight, front side marker lights, new a/c vents, the steering wheel tilt telescope motors (or maybe just the switch?) but I don't think there's anything major.
Parts are kind of a hassle to get here but I think I can get some through friends in the US or just suppliers in Japan or Dubai..
I also have Jimny as a daily here, LOVE IT!
