boost versus fuel

Hey there my mechanic turned up the boost to 15psi but left the fuel as is seems to run out of puff between 2500 and 3000 rpm should she need a bit more fuel i would of thought she is a bj74 13bt

Hey mate,

I wouldn’t be playing with fuelling unless you have a EGT gauge and boost gauge installed. Last thing you want to do is melt a piston or something! There’s good thread on here about turning up the fuelling on 13BT motors. Use the site search function.

In regards to the EGT probe, Pre turbo installs are, from what I gather, the way to go.

yep I already have both installed when I had motor reconditioned for that exact purpose cheers
