well got the axel in...new master cylinder in and all the brake lines run...just waiting on 2 lines i had to order...tonight i started on the body work part of this project...several months ago the lady across the street backed into jake...mashed the driver side rocker and door...tonight i worked on the rocker portion...hope to wrap it up tomorrow night and start the door repair.

when i cut the rocker off i had some rust issues to deal with...so i fabbed up some parts and welded em in...got all the sub structure in....tomorrow i will install the new rocker...took almost 3 weeks to get the part from real steel....nice part though...well made..here are a few pics...

Lookin' good. Now's the time to fab up some sliders and integrate the new rocker with them. :D

so the body work project continued today...wrapped up the rocker install and repaired the damage to the driver side door...i need to put on a little filler...sand...rust bullet....than paint...the project has gone remarkably smooth...hope to have jake back in it by the weekend...here are a few more pics....

Wow marc! Based off the first pic I was going to ask how janet felt about you working on the 40 in your dining room. But then in the last pic I see you have a beautifully tiled floor in your shop. ;p
The new lift looks real good. Looks like the rear settled down once you got if off the stands.

LOL...that beatufully tiled floor looks much nicer today...i spent some time cleaning up yesterday...it still needs some attention...all that old 90 weight and molly grease coupled with the mud falling off of the truck has really diminished the pristine look of that floor...yes the lift looks wonderful..jake is thrilled...i wish i could work on it in the dining room...it would be waaayy warmer...some tightwad is to cheap to turn the gas on for the shop:D...probably will spend more in propane!
