Fellas, I have a 1976 (not running, with no title) with rust issues, but not as bad as my 1970 (which is running, with title). I need to get rust work done regardless, but I am contemplating removing the body off the 1976 and dropping it off to get fixed while the other is still running. Then swapping it onto the 1971 chassis. Would this be a straight swap? Looks like the body mounts are in the same positions. The only difference being the 4sp tranny vs 3 sp. Has anyone done this?

Nope! It was a '74 body to a '76 chassis. Watch for the September POTM I'm up and I'll be posting pictures.
