rebuilding my body mounts foward of the front seats. What are the best kind of bushings? SOR has some for $139. Are there better or worse kinds?

The "kit' is what I purchased and was enough to do the truck complete. I foreget how many total. I do remember they are not all the same. Quality was as good as you'll get. I don't think oem can be found.

Don't really care about oem. Are there different options or is it only the things that look like hockey pucks? I wonder if mcmaste carr has something like springs. The idea of smoothing out the 55 would be great!
I've thought about using bulk material to fab some body mounts....just haven't been able to find out what the factory dimensions of the new bushing are. If anyone has a kit they haven't installed yet, could you please take some measurements? TIA. I was thinking of either a nice cushy rubber or poly or even a soft aluminum...

I am just about to buy some from SOR.
When you get your body mounts in, could you post some pics and dimensions of all the different sizes BEFORE they get squished betwixt the body and frame? TIA

Finally got it done. Work always seems to get in the way. Got some pics. I used bushings from an fj60. Got some dimensions if your interested. Picked up some of the por 15. EXPENSIVE!!! I guess that everyone believes in it. I hope so.
Snapped pretty much all the bolts that hold the fender on. Ground off the t-nut type thing and gonna tack in new nuts, wire wheel the whole thing and then Por it.
Worried, if I get that por 15 in the threads will it ruin the nuts' thread, or do I need to protect them with some tape or something.
The mounts change my door problem completely. I had them adjusted all the way foward because of the droop in the A pillars. Now I have to pull them back to the neutral position, and put in my new door stricker. All my other doors are opening and closing so well now!!

good work. I saw 1 1/8" of an inch thickness. Are they all the same thickness, or did you just do the ones at the front?
