I am planning on doing this to my 43 , did you use a roof off a 45 or did you cut and shorten the original roof.
 
how did you get that carpet to stick to the walls and ceiling of your cab I'm trying to do the same thing but haven't found anything good yet to adhere it.
Contact cement in a quart can from (believe it was Elmers) Home Depot. Get alot of cheap wooden brushes.
 
You do very nice work. The before and after photos show what can be done with a bit of work and some time. Gives those of us with projects to finish something to aim for.
 
Swapped out the 31,s for some 33,s put a rack on. have about 500 miles on the engine so far. Drive it to work and back every day. Stiil have a ways to go. Not a beauty queen but hey.....Its mine. Bad storms last night so its filthy. For some reason the second picture looks a whole lot lighter than it really is.

Which was a steal (the rack I mean)..........man oh man you brought that thing to life. Nice work!
 
excellent job my friend. I was thinking of doing the same to my FJ43. Just need to find a donor hard top.
