Drove up from Southern California to ride my bike and wheel up here in BC... My engine in my 60 crapped out today. Been a solid runner all 6 years I've had her, but I chanced it on this road trip with the oil sender being out. figured if I did an oil change at the start I would be solid, alas, I was wrong. It stuttered and started knocking yesterday, I immediately pulled over and shut it down. Dropped my bike from the trailer and rode to Squamish for oil and put 4 quarts in. Started right up power was all there but has a slight knock during certain rpms. Did a full oil change for good measure. So today I tried to start driving it home since im out of options and after about 15 minutes it fully gave out. Instant hard knock to seize. So I am stuck using wifi at the Tim hortons in Squamish. I spoke with EBI and he has a low mileage 2f but it's gonna be out of my price range for labor and engine. I would help or do most of the swap if he would let me (I didn't ask). Basically just hoping for some advice or direction from you guys, maybe someone has a 3b or 2f they are willing to part with or a garage to do a swap in. my brain hurts from all this had a few other mishaps today with dirt bike as well. Just an awful day all around
