Just a random reminder to check your hose clamps and to start with the basics and not think your turbo/waste gate is dying.

Could only get to 8psi of boost under full load out of I think a maximum of 10. Turns out I had put my passion fingers all over the hose clamp on the turbo and damaged the thread 🙄🙄🙄.

New hose clamp and the big slow lump is a little more spritely.

Hopefully helps someone not go down a rabbit hole of despair.

Should only use these on turbo hoses.

Funny you should mention it.
Considering where I live currently I nearly hugged the guy at the counter when I found the industrial supply place had them in stock

The worm drive clamp was from the original turbo install about 15 years ago that the previous owner had done.

Start with throwing away any utilux style worm drive hose clamps. They are worse than junk.

For most things the OEM style spring clamps are the best bet. They silky pressure evenly around the hose/fitting.
Worm drive clamps will pinch hoses out of shape. The tighter you go, the more likely you are to cause a leak.
