BSM on the PASSENGER side is weird. It is not very sensitive. Semis...no alert. Passing a car...no alert. The only time that you see alert is if a car is approaching me.
The driver's side BSM works as advertised. Yes, i have read Owner's Manual on BSM. But my Toyota Sienna BSM works great on both sides. Very sensitive. Anytime anything on the sides (in blind spot), it lights up...no matter what type of vehicle or what speed difference.
Is there something in Techstream that can change sensitivity of BSM?? I checked the "hidden" Setting menu...nothing there. The dash setting is just BSM on or off.
