keep the 2F........... or an F they are good for at least 200.000 miles if given just a little bit of tlc...my 0.02

watch the boards....my 76 2f floated out....picked up a good used 2f from someone doin a v8 conversion for $200 and it came with an ac comp/bracket and ps unit/bracket.....just got to get it running.

2X on checking who is doing a V-8 conversion. Would be much cheaper in the long run to find a well-maintained 2F than doing
a rebuild.

Did you ever figure out what went wrong? I'd love to get this motor out of my garage - especially if I can help somebody out that needs it...
