Hello all, this is my first post. My APPS sensor went bad, and I went ahead and purchased a brand new oem throttle body assembly cause why not? Might aswell while the part is still available for us beloved 2uzfe owners.. lost some coolant and refilled the system and “bled” the system, noticed this 21 mm bolt/plug on the top of the throttle body. When I took off the one on my old throttle body it’s clearly made to seal off the coolant from getting out of the assembly. Is this supposed to be a bleeder plug? Seems similar to the one found on my 1uz ls400 near the thermostat housing. Thanks. 2001 2uzfe pre vvti (best gen). THANKS!!

my 2004 does not have that on it's throttle body. could this be a TB from a Tundra or soemthing?
It’s a tundra throttle body, but it’s the same exact part number and part for the lx470 as my same year as the tundra. In fact I actually purchased this part from my lexus dealer because it was cheaper for some reason. Maybe the early 2uz’s only have it

So 2001 landcruisers and lx470s must have them cause they are the same part numbers as my tundra, I like to call my tundra the pick up truck landcruiser

I appreciate the reply, I’m definitely trying to find an answer to this because I’m really curious
