Awesome pics Mark, thanks for posting 'em up. The pics of Jake do not do justice for the incline of the trails, dam 2D.

I'll reiterate the huge thank you to the folks at Dakota Territory Cruisers for putting together yet another great event.

looks good so far!! interested in more pics of that green buggy...

Contact Mike Smith @ Bump It Offroad and he can fill you in on all the details but here's the high points

- Scratch built buggy
- supercharged 3.4L w/ automatic and Atlas w/ 3.8:1
- ORI struts
- narrowed Mog axles w/ 8 lug conversion as well as a few other beef-up bits for the steering components
- full hydro steering
- Hutchinson bead locks wrapped in Red dot BFG's

It worked amazingly well when we pre-ran a few trails on Wednesday.

Mark Great pics! Thanks for posting. 1st time to the Black hills cruiser classic! Thanks to all the members of DTC! Great experience! Well worth sitting in the car for 20 plus hours from Ohio! If anyone is ever having thoughts about going, just go! Great event! :)

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone but more importantly, thanks to all of you that attended the event and supported DTC. We were down on registrant numbers this year, which makes us nervous about the future of the event. Please spread the word about the Black Hills Cruiser Classic and lets fill the campground next year!!!

Brian,

We'll spread the word as best we can because you guys do put on a fantastic event with such a small number of members. However, with the abundance of hardcore trails close to camp it might be worth considering a shift in demographic for the primary group y'all focus on. That's not to say those of us in the 3/4/4+ group are left out but let's face it there are more trails to choose from for the 5/5+ crowd which leaves the rest of us repeating the same trails each year. As we discussed in camp, running down to Dugan's is a long drive (30 mi each way) for what could end up a 1-2 hour trail ride. I think we all realize that the US Forest Service controls the trails and has limited some of what used to be available some alternatives should be explored. Maybe there are some other trails within a reasonable drive the 3/4/4+ groups might consider.

Kris
