Hi all
Ive been lurking for a while, and this is my first problematic post..
BJ74 87' JDM 13B-T auto.. 24V system
my problem is the warning lights (filter, green and red turbo and auto tranny temp lights) are sticking on after i start the bus, and wont go away..
this is scaring me
as it also sounds a little different on idle and possibly a 'peanut' smell?? but i dont know if im imagining things there! hopefully this is just an electrical short/earth issue..
I have read some previous posts on this issue, but it seems they also had issues with ! and charge lights aswell as the warning lights.
One thing to note is that i had my radiator fixed yesterday (cracked seam to the top cap was welded up) and engine flushed etc.. unfortunately the dude who pulled it is off work today (just my luck) but they shoulda only taken off the temp gauge line if anything.. but maybe disconnected batts..
maybe relays? regulator/alt.. but charge status in dash is the same at around 30V as it has been since i got him 3 weeks ago.. batts are the same type and fairly new
Cheers for the help.. let me know if i have missed any info
Thanks Iain
