Hello All,
I am new to this site but it was passed off to me from a buddy, and I am looking forward to looking into it,......it seems awesome.
So I do have a question, I just purchased a BJ44 right hand drive last fall it is my second cruiser. I would like to know if any of you are familiar with this truck and know if the wheel base is the same as a short box 45? The reason I ask is I would like to turn it into a pick up and with the extra length I thought that I may be able to do this. I would probably go with the aqua lu tub and cab......any thoughts.

Thanks Rick:confused:

Welcome to the board!

I will move this thread to our 40 series section, which covers all the 4x models. But since this is a BJ also I will leave a re-direct here so others can see your request.

G-luck.

This 44 must be in dire straits for you to want to destroy a more rare LC. I would NEVER think of doing that. But you must have a good reason. Good luck. I do know the rear leaf springs are indeed longer than the american 40.
