Just got linked to this on G+. It seems super nifty, and would be a great addition to your survival bag.

I think it's cool how you can charge 5 volt devices while cooking. With this, you could have electronic devices as part of your survival kit and have reasonable expectations on keeping them running for a while.

I've been watching these guys for a couple of years - it has been fun to watch their design evolve. I'm going to buy the larger Home Stove when they release it.
