big rooftop tent?

I got a family of me, my wife, and two small sons. Is there a BIG rooftop tent. the ones that I have seen are 2 - 3 person sized. any one have other resources? I really want to get out with the family.

If you look for inexpensive, the earlier Mombasas are pretty big. Should accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids I would think. The newer one seems smaller.

Are you sure you want to haul a small kid down a ladder in the middle of the night for a nature trip?

I am exactly in the same case: one tall wife, two very young munchkins and I considered the Eezi-Awn Series 3, the biggest of which accomodates a good sized family. Not cheap but very sturdy it seems.

There's a dude on here who sells 'em, and if you do a search you'll see one that's been resold at least twice.

check out the autohome overland. i've got it and love it. the large size has more than enough room for two adults and two kids. i've got a two year old thats been camping with us since she was 6 months old and up and down the ladder is easy. very stable. good luck..

The large OverLand is 71"W X 87"L and 49"H inside. Weight is 130 lbs. Kids love roof top tents...

We've been using the Eezi Awn 2200 for a couple years now and love it. Me, my wife and 3 kids. Lots of room inside. Might be a little heavy for roof mount, but works great on a trailer.
