Here's the deal Folks ...

Done spent the best part of the last two days drivin' thru friggin' monsoons to haul ass on last minutes notice from Pascagoula, MS to Baltimore, MD. Gotta get some old, tired equipment ready to go to work and tow the junk up the Hudson River to Albany, NY for some kinda emergency dredgin' project involvin' millions of y'alls tax dollars.

It's complicated and risky ... and has my name written all over it.

Could I pull some strings and get out of it? Prob'ly so. I did just that to get to the Redneck Gig. But ... By Gawd ... it ain't right this time.

Y'all know dam-well how well this comp'ny's treated me here in the last several months and it's time for me to step up to the plate and give somethin' back. I ain't sure I can pull this project off or not ... but I know ain't nobody else gonna.

Therefore, I've agreed to try my damndest to get 'er done over the next 5 or 6 weeks 'fore ever'thang freezes up there.

I hate like hell to miss the Big Junk Run ... sorta like missin' your own birthday party. But with a very sad heart, I gotta say ... I'm out.

I'll send Josh a text message lettin' him know. I REALLY hope that him and Fireman will carry-on in my absence and make sure this event still happens.

Well, my rig is busted after the DC race on Firday. I shelled a front ring and pinion but 4 wheel parts had one in stock and should be setting on my door step on Monday. I will hopefully have it back together by Friday. Later,

On the whaling wall and we tore it apart today and the ring and pinion is fine but the ATLAS is toast. I broke something inside the atlas so I'm not going to make the big junk run. I'm going to pull the transfer this weekend instead. Yall have fun and I'll catch ya next time.
