Fun run! I managed to break a spring pin on the dirt road on the way off the trail. I crab-crawled all the way home... Here is a link to a lot of photos that I took:

sorry to hear about the spring pin, I fryed the headlight circuit, drove home on my rock lights wired into one headlight, kind of tough on those right hand turns, but it was fun

I kinda wondered how far you would get with nightfall approaching with those lights.

Broken spring pin coming off the trail? It was flat with the exception of a few mud holes Rubicon John bathed in. Oh wait, that's where our CDF fire nazi bathed and found a wet distributor . Glad you two made it home in one piece. Good times!

Who was it that said something about hitting our hard tops on John Bull trees anyway?

yeah the frustraiting part is today I found the culprit, the fuse was blown , but rather than in the middle it was way up inside the barrel, so at night you could see the fuse part but not the barrel part, anyways new harness and other crap to keep that from happening again,

I had a great time! it was Chilly! Windy! but fun. Nice to meet all of you. The jeeps we encountered was a pain to dael with. I guess jeep people think they must have the right of way because they own a jeep or something like that.
