Chilco Lake is a looooong way for a three day trip. I've spent a lot of time in that area and I always budgeted a minimum of 5 to 7 days. At least that's if you want to enjoy the area and not drive 18 hours a day just to blast through it on FSR mainlines.

Tomorrow

Looks like Mike T will be blasting thru very early, I will try to keep up with him :). See you guys out there

I am looking at leaving around 1pm with Sopel. Since we am further away from whistler, we'll take Hwy 7, Hwy 1 to 97 and see you guys in the evening.
As for the "side trip", I know it is a long trip and there is a chance we are not going to get there but there are some nice things to see on the way and worst case we'll have to go back another time to explore some more. The other option we were thinking of is going down to Carpenter Lake.
