best way to find a vehicle you sold years ago? (1 Viewer)

aside from carfax, does anyone know a good way to track down a vehicle you sold years ago you wish you could get back? I sold a 93' 80 series about 15 years ago...want to try and relocate it to see if its still on the road and /or possibly for sale? ** Edit....i have the VIN number. and the last person i sold it to no longer has it.

I’d start with the person you sold it to.

DMV won’t be of any help, baring a subpoena in hand. Sorry.

if you can find your old insurance records, I have had luck simply google searching the VIN and finding past for sale listings. best of luck.
