I flew to Austin and got mine - drove it back 1 k miles that day (and night). There were 5 potentials there. Cheap, no rust, mall cruisers.

If you ever find one on either www.cars.com or www.ebay.com , gimme a holler and I'll check 'em out for you here in the SF Bay Area (Northern California)... until June 2004 that is. There can be pretty good deals, and with lockers too. It seems like the people order 'em with all available options...

been seeing a few 80's for sale around here lately.
think as the gas prices go up will probably see more non-cruiserheads selling.

Funny thing about this thread, pimp found me a great one owner 80 from Wa in great shape with big Ks. Although it has high Ks it drives better than the 1997 80 I drove last year and has better oil pressure!!!!!!!!!!
When I crawl under the truck I am pleased to work on my first ever rust free cruiser, it is simply a joy to work on this rig.

i'd say s. florida, all the fringin soccer moms who don't even know what the little nob is to the left of the steering wheel is or what it does. most of the time neither does the husband who bought it for her.
