I just found out all the creaking coming from the rear of my vehicle is actually the dang hose from rear bypass located under my rocker panel. The hose is rubbing against the motor for the Tyrant4x4 power step. Anyways, it’s a pretty easy fix by wrapping the hose with felt tape and it got me thinking if that is the best location for it anyways. The bonus of the current location is nobody can see it and tamper with it.
Does placement really matter for the rear bypass reservoir? I was thinking of just having it moved to the fender well for easier access to the valve adjuster. If I do this, any recommendations for proper placement within the fender well?
