Finally getting around to some very much needed engine bay cleanup and beautification - what is the cleanest way to plug/cap the heater and oil cooler ports on a 2f water pump?

I've used the short hose, bolt, and clamp method before but it looks kinda trashy - anything else?

Also thinking about a hose connecting the two but that's another possible leaking hose at some point and also looks trashy too

Any ideas? Thanks

Might look trashy, but probably is the most reliable. I have not ever found a rubber cap that can be clamped to the hose barb on the pump, and not fail.

This came up on a search, anyone else have anymore ideas? I'm removing my rear heater and need to block off the tubes where they branch off at the passenger floor boards. I don't recall ever seeing any kind of rubber cap that would work.

There actually was a rubber cap that came with the splitters. Haven't found anything like it in the hardware store (but then, I have the OEMs). You might check with CDan. The cheapo way would be to take a short length of hose and hose clamp a large bolt into the end to make a cap.

I just ran a splice(-) and removed the "T". Never leaks
