This thread is pretty funny! I worked for AAA for well over two years when I got tired of really working. I was one of a very few they had who could open up a locked late model high-end Toyo or Lexus! They are tricky at best. They are much harder than Mercedes or BMW to break into without damage. I could get past the interior motion sensors in BMW and Mercedes, but the smart locks on Toyos would give me fits. The only car that I ever failed to unlock was a top-line Lexus sedan. Even lowly Corollas would frustrate me. Most Toyos that I unlocked were done by finding the key ring in the car and bringing the ring out of the car on a hook, thru the window. Then we would open the car with the key. Don't count on AAA to unlock your 80. Toyota locks are diabolical!
I keep my spare key in my pocket, on my key ring. It is the only key that I need. I am prone to getting distracted, tired, and even drunk on occasion, just like we all do. Because of this, I have developed nerve endings in my wallet, my phone and in my keys. With those three, I can survive anything, and I never let them go. They are my survival trio, the rest of my things are expendable. I pay attention to what is important. I am rarely to be found without my keys.
