Best early 90 toyota mini truck

Thinking about getting a 90-95 Toyota Truck. Anything to look out for as for as problems. I would like to get a 4 cylinder 2wheel drive manual. Any weak links. Think about getting one putting a mild lft on it with new rims and 31 in A/T. Prob will only put new exhaust and do a mild intake.

Not sure why you would want to lift a 2wd but since you are make sure its fuel injected. Some base model 2wds still had carburators. Also check for frame rust where the rear leaf spring mounts to the frame.

the question is why wouldn't you want a 90s 2wd truck... from what i know, don't quote me 89 and on had 22re 4cly. i do know if you were to go and do a SAS on a 2wd truck you would need alot of stuff but would be working with a clean palate and not some hacked up IFS job. again pre runners are cool but would need some work as well (sprung over). do what you will i've had a 91 2wd since day one, have 300k on it w/ 30 mpg and will do the speedometer (its only 110)...
