Pinion bearings are howling at speed. I've removed so many layers of noise, I hear it loud and clear now. When I take my got off the gas at highway speed it stops. Looking at a 5K trip in a few weeks. Want to get this done before leaving while I'm doing the rear bearings.
Turning the volume up on the radio eliminates most noises.

Zuk is in Phoenix? Tried the radio thing. The wife is sponsoring this one. I've trained her to be too aware of noises and this one is loud.
I second Zuk... He did my ARB's and gears in the LX450. Super detailed guy...

In the future if anyone is trying to diag odd stuff. I have my Gopro we can mount with a microphone. And then drive to find the issue. The gopro streams to my phone. So we can watch in real time.

Already heard back from him. Great guy to talk to and even more OCD than I am. His price is very reasonable at $250 with carry in and my Cruiser Outfitters kit. Thanks for all the recommendations and help guys!

Pulled my third member tonight. Easier than I thought using the law of gravity! Do you put the new gasket on dry or use sealant?

I may pick some FIPG up tomorrow, I boogered an axle seal and need to buy a new one. Thick or Thin FIPG with the gasket? Is there a special differential FIPG type or color?
