Best diesel pump between aux and main tank (1 Viewer)

Hi there, I have a Surflo 12V selfpriming diesel pump to transfer diesel from my auxilliary tank to my main tank. I broke after 3 years of very little use, so I am looking for a more durable solution. I am not looking for a pump with large displacement necessarily, as I transfer the diesel while driving. Any suggestions? TIA

I have a Facet 60302 Posi-Flo Solid State pump between my factory sub and main fuel tank and been using it for a few years now. No worries so far. Check the table in the link where it lists a number of Facet pumps and their specs. Been thinking about ordering a spare for in the kit, just in case it fails in the middle of nowhere but have not got to that yet.

Not sure how long the Facet will take running dry, though it does self prime. I used a George module wired into the subtank sender so it gets a signal when to shut off. The George module is linked in this thread.
