benchseats?

anyone ever put a bench seat in a 40? i'm thinking about it for road trips and my dogs. looking for other perspectives, thanks.

I had a bench seat at one time in my 40.Hard to get into and kills any hauling room.

I've got one out of a tracker that I'm going to put in. just fits between the wheel wells. best solution I've found

A '68 fj40 I used to own had a front bench seat, so they did exist. SOR might show something on their site perhaps?

my 66 has a single seat for the driver then a wide bench passenger seat that touches it so a two part bench. There are three seat belts. You can get two kids beside you if your wife isn't around to see it and it is probably safer than putting them in the jump seats.
