Hi all!
As some may know, I restore 40 wiper motors as a side gig. Example of my work here: Early FJ40 wiper motor restoration - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/early-fj40-wiper-motor-restoration.1289705/
I am currently taking new jobs :)

I got sick of lugging a restored unit out to my truck to test them before sending them off. Not sure how useful this will be for most, but I decided to put together a bench tester. Build details upon request!

Video of the rig testing a newly finished job for a client:
Has a good demonstration of the park function.

Awesome. My park function has never functioned correctly since I got the rig in 82, I just push the knob home at the correct time - not very hard with PacMan training eye to hand coordination skills.

Not familiar with the later model units, but happy to consult! My guess is a poor ground somewhere. If you can see a reed type switch anywhere, snap a pic and send it along.
