Update

I have evrything in and here is a clip with the sm420 and the toy case.
LO range first gear.

I think my tining is a bit advanced, I will have get adjusted with a new tune up.

AS far as the clutch you can get one with 10 spline and 8 7/8 OD. which is the same as the stock clutch OD.
I , however , for some reason , I could only get one with 9 1/8 OD , so I had it turned down to fit.
All the other parts are from the stock stuff used with the bellhousing .

One major reason I went with this transmission is that PTO.
I am doing some work to the PTO shaft that goes inside , so I made this cover for temp fix.
I plan to run a short shaft to a hydraulic pump.
Actually I made a stupid mistake , when I was filling the transfer case I had no cover on that PTO hole.
and guess what happended.
Anyway I had to make that cover and stick it on there with a home made gasket in like less than 10 min.
I still have lots of work to do. Few little things to sand and paint.
Then I will post some pics..
