I would be also interested in a place online to buy JDM stuff. Everybody says 'I got JDM this, JDM that, JDM whatever' and I still can't find a place to order those things online. I would like a JDM grille and other details, so any information would be helpful.

Do you have to remove the grill and the indicator light to do this mod?
just the grill and valance, leave the indicator lights on the valance, give Rex a call at Coolstream, he will hook you up with the parts for this mod...
What's the practical advantage of going JDM over a '91-'92 set up?
JDM lines/parts would have been plug and play - fittings are for the R134. The 91'-92/3' are R12 lines, you have to modify the R12 line end fittings so that it will plug into the R134 lines on the 94 - 97 landcruisers.
