I used Sno-Seal on a canvas L L Bean Coat and it came out just like a Barbour. I used the one that comes in the tube and has the consistency of Vaseline. I rubbed it all over the coat and then threw it in the dryer on low heat. Worked beautifully and didn't leave a residue in the dryer. I plan on doing this to some other old jackets I have.
