is that my old rack? looks like you made some improvements... rear bumper looks great as well!!!

now take it out and use it!

Your rack is on my other 60. The second generation Mobassa did not line up and it was really wide.

I still have your straps in my truck. I have not forgotten. i jsut keep forgetting to drop them off when I'm in your neighborhood.

no worries, whenever you get here is cool. I may be able to make a short appearance at SnT, so maybe then, but I'm in no real hurry...

wish I had an "other 60" :D

Well crap, I now have 2 FJ 60's, 1 FJ62, 2 FJ 40's and one custom build FJ45 Extended Cab. And those are just the Toyota brand vehicles.

LOL!

Sweet looks like your loaded for bear..

What springs are you running?

The OME 3.5" Ultra Heavy Duty pack.

My neighbor drove it yesterday and said it rides nicer than his Sequoia.
And it looks a hell of alot nicer than his Sequoia:D

Better watch out, the wife's gonna weld that seat so close you wont be able to get your knees past the steering column.

Don't get mine near it, we may have a cat fight on our hands...

That a lot of spare fuel.. you will not need a gas station.

The top two or the bottom two will be swapped out for the military water cans, when I find some.

Right now I use the fuel cans as fuel cans. In the Valley you will pay around $3.09 per gallon for 87 octane. In the mountains you can pay $3.70 an up per gallon for 87 octane. If you go for a three day wheeling trip in the mountians, I tend to need the fuel.

ROTW candidate....

Time for a beagle poll! :grinpimp:

I vote for 8-10, whatever 'normal' pack size is. I've put 3 dobers, 2 shepards & 2 pit bulls in my rig: still had room for a couple 2 leggeds.

where's the pix w/beagles? you know: driver's seat being 'in charge', open rear hatch, rubber noses out the rear windows, etc. ;p

sweet rig, look forward to camping pix.

Wow, that looks great!

I wish my 60 looked and functioned like that!

Here is the roof rack. It came off an 80 series with a sunroof. With minimal adjustments it bolted right to the 60.

You can see towards the rear that the fuel can holders are made into the rack. The big wing nut looking thing hold down and extra spare tire.

I bolted this on the the 60 and then used a set of tall Thule rack arms and cross supports. The tent and cross bar do not touch the roof rack. It is close but they do not touch.

Roof Rack

90” long 44” wide

Brackets are mounted at the 16”, 50” & 83” from front to back

Big thank to Cruiser Drew for running outside and measuring his 60 roof when I was about to buy. I knew it was close but I was 300 miles from my 60 and had no way to confirm the measurements.

clever use of the odd space left by the sun roof opening!

do you have a brand off that rack?

maybe add a bolt-on removable rack section for the moonroof area to maximize cargo hold capacity? maybe use some wing nits?
